Seeing Alec Walsh and Rory Xanders present their GIP final project,
a published Pasadena community service book, was so amazing because
it showed me how far one can get with hard work and determination,
and motivated me for the upcoming year as a Global Scholar! It was so
inspiring to hear about all the hard work that the two seniors put into publishing
an entire book in just 4 months! I also loved how they are working towards
continuing the project, and spreading it so people outside of Pasadena can
join the project! Congratulations to Alec and Rory for an amazing project and
presentation!
